Many small businesses and organizations are responsible for meeting occupational health and safety requirements without the support of a dedicated safety department. This session, hosted by WSPS, is designed for employers, supervisors and managers who wear multiple hats and want to ensure they are meeting their legal obligations. Participants will gain a practical overview of core compliance requirements, including developing and maintaining policies and procedures, understanding mandatory posting requirements, identifying and controlling workplace hazards, delivering effective worker orientation and training, and maintaining accurate health and safety records.
