About Us
The Regional Business Centre is your one-stop source for information, guidance, and support to help you start, grow, or manage your business.
Entrepreneurship is a key driver of our local economy. Since 1995, the Centre has supported thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners in Greater Sudbury and beyond. We are an Ontario Small Business Advisory Centre (OSBAC) and a member of SBC Ontario.
Ontario Small Business Advisory Centres deliver provincially funded programs and services that help entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow, and succeed. With more than 50 centres across Ontario, OSBACs foster local business growth and strengthen communities across the province. We provide information, referrals, advisory services, mentoring, workshops, networking opportunities, and business resources to support entrepreneurs and small businesses at all stages of development.
The Centre operates as part of the City of Greater Sudbury’s Economic Development team, allowing us to stay connected to local priorities and broader business development efforts. We also work closely with our Collaboration Network—a group of community partners who help strengthen and expand the support we offer to entrepreneurs.

Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or existing business owner, we are here to help. We provide the following services to help you succeed, free of charge:

Guidance on licenses, permits, and regulations
Funding directory for businesses and not-for-profit

Provincial and municipal business registration support
Guidance to professional services through our collaboration network
