The Regional Business Centre

The Regional Business Centre is a one-stop source for information and guidance on starting, expanding and operating a business. The Regional Business Centre supports future entrepreneurs, new startups, and existing businesses in the Greater Sudbury, Manitoulin and region and operates within the Economic Development Division of the City of Greater Sudbury.

Our Business Programs

Starter Company Plus

Starter Company Plus is a program that provides entrepreneurs with the resources and knowledge they need to start, purchase or grow their own business. Participants can receive up to $5,000 for their business.

Summer Company

Students aged 15 to 29 who are returning to school in Greater Sudbury and the surrounding areas in September can receive a grant of up to $3,000 to start their own business with the Summer Company program.

Are you a new startup, or have an innovative business idea and looking for extra support? Join our free 6-month program at the Innovation Quarters and receive training and mentorship from local business owners and professionals.

Visit the Regional Business Centre

You can visit the Regional Business Centre between Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m by visiting the One-Stop-Shop desk in Tom Davies Square at 200 Brady Street, Sudbury. Walk-ins are welcome but we do encourage you to book an appointment with our team in advance.
